seven years later

Amy and I both work near the World Trade Center. I ended up working late on September 11th this year, and on my way home I was lucky enough to get some shots of the spotlights.

They set the spotlights up about a block or two from my building.


From this close, the lights appeared to converge at some point just beyond the clouds.

The plaza kitty-corner from the World Trade Center as everything was winding down. For such a solemn day, this plaza had a very good feeling about it.
