now that I can walk

Ender recently learned to walk all by himself, and he's been loving/abusing his new found freedom ever since!

He walks like a zombie!
We call it the Frankenwalk.



Ender has been learning all about animals, and the things they say to us. This is his version of "horse" in sign language.


The girls at his school have taught Ender to hug his stuffed animals. He usually gives them a big squeeze just before growling and flinging them across the room.


Ender's menagerie has a lion, a monkey, a striped lion, and a leprechaun!


For Labor Day we went to the beach and tickled Ender's feet with coastal plants.


He also started noticing birds for the first time on Labor Day. Since they're Jersey birds they didn't like him pointing at them, and we almost got into a few fights with the seagulls.


All bundled up for a beautiful autumn day at the beach!


Ender is quite the fright in his new glow-in-the-dark bone jammies! Watch out, he'll get you!


Looks like we have a skeleton in our cupboard...


I'd like to say that those are Yoda shoes to match his Yoda shirt, but unfortunately they're only frogs, and the Force is not their ally.

Ender is learning to balance like an acrobat, but Daddy hasn't yet learned how to not make stupid faces while teaching him.
