aunt cindy

Aunt Cindy stayed with us for a month to take care of Baby Ender. And with the holidays wrapping up, it was a busy month!

Amy, Ender, and Cindy at Rockefeller Center to see the tree. We also saw Maggie Gyllenhaal, but Batman was nowhere to be found (ninjas are tough to spot, especially in a crowd that big).

Pretty pretty lights at 30 Rock.

We went to the haunted movie theater to see Oliver, and during halftime the rotating organ guy played a bunch of Christmas songs.

We went to Washington DC to visit the Urtons (not pictured here) for New Years. What is pictured here is Ender and I taking a nap together in the display furniture at a store.

We also met-up with Tami and Eddie for lunch.

Ender had his own chair to sit in! Some kind of weird highchair, which was interesting, but very uncomfortable.

Cindy and Amy. Amy loved the bottles they brought to our table.

Ender and Amy both with furry hoods.

At the White House a few weeks before the Obamas moved in.

Washington Monument.

The National Mall was crawling with evil squirrels from hell.

We went to Marrakesh for Ron's birthday party.

Marianne was able to join us for dinner!

We saw a belly dancing show, which Ender loved until everyone started clapping, then he got scared. Our dancer had braces, and was quite deft at balancing a sword on her head.

We went to Mt Vernon to see George Washington's house, and the visitor's center was all decorated for Christmas.

Apparently George Washington used to bring a camel to his house every Christmas, and the tradition continues. Ender loved the camel!

The Old Skool White House.
